Located adjacent to the Upper Valley Haven homeless shelter, this 15,400 SF multifamily building for Twin Pines Housing contains 18 one-bedroom units of permanently affordable housing for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. The proximity to The Haven makes this an ideal location for a supportive housing solution. “Supportive housing” is affordable housing with onsite services that help formerly homeless, disabled tenants live in dignity in the community. Disabilities can include physical health and chronic health conditions, mental health challenges and substance misuse that involves addiction and related health challenges. Twin Pines Housing is developing and will operate the apartment building. The Haven will provide the case management services to help tenants succeed in their housing experience.
