Wells River Treatment Center

The primary building and site, formerly a country Inn and now a youth drug treatment center, were repurposed and redesigned as a six-bed secure juvenile treatment facility. The center includes interior areas for group activities, offices for around-the-clock support staff, kitchen and dining facilities and an outdoor fenced courtyard. Although the facility is designed to have high visibility and maximum security, the goal is to create an environment that is soothing, safe, and therapeutic; stabilization and assessment are the goals, while providing the youth with opportunities to learn skills, build relationships and normalize daily living.
